Charged after the cache miss and before we go out on the network. Refunded in full when the answer is undecided or the failure was ours. A notFound the platform stated is charged, because it is an answer.
Credit packs.
For a burst that outruns the month's quota. They never expire, and they do not raise the daily cap. That ceiling is a fair-use backstop, not a paywall.

A pack costs more per credit than any plan does, deliberately. If you are buying them every month, a plan is cheaper and we would rather say so here than take the difference.
The money questions.
- When do I get a credit back?
- Whenever we could not check. A blocked page, a rate limit, a timeout, an unparseable response: all
undecided, all refunded, none cached. You also pay nothing for a repeat we served from cache. - What happens when the quota runs out?
- A 402 that says so, and nothing gets charged. Waiting does not clear it. A pack or a plan does, and the error says which. Your keys keep working the moment either lands.
- Do credits expire?
- A plan's monthly credits reset on the 1st, UTC. Purchased credits never expire and are spent only after the month's allowance is gone.
- Can I cancel?
- From the console, any time. You keep the period you already paid for, and the account drops to the free plan's limits rather than locking. A recovered payment needs no new checkout.
